Benjamin is excited for his first basketball game with his new team. He tries his best, running up and down the court and taking a chance to shoot, but no matter how hard he tries, the ball just won’t go in the basket. He feels disappointed, especially when the game ends and his coach hands out medals to the players. Benjamin doesn’t get a medal, but his family cheers him up, reminding him he can do anything and to try again. Benjamin learns that trying his best and doing the hard work does pay off!
